When you can feel the affection for each other, that unique bond, their cutesy giggles and smiles, you know you’re in the right place. Ghazal and Siddharth have been in a long distance relationship for a long, long time, and I felt that these little bits and pieces of time that they get to spend together are so much more special to them. This shoot was done on the evening of their engagement, and the night Siddharth was flying out. Long distance is tough, but long distance across time zones is something else.
We spend an afternoon admiring Delhi in full bloom and we were blessed with dreamy, cloudy weather – the kinds where you expect it to rain any moment now but the Rain Gods cooperate with you and grant your every wish with delightful whiffs of cool breeze and not a drop of rain.
Please note, none of these images have been “posed for” (except the ones with the okay-we-will-smile-for-you-smiles :)). The joy and energy you see in them is 100% real. These two kept talking to each other and bursting into smiles and laughter. My job was done – there’s a story behind every single one of these images, but you’ve got to ask Ghazal and Siddharth what it was 😉
