This pre-wedding shoot was shot just hours before the wedding festivities kicked in. Shipra and Gaurav were super adorable and cute during their shoot, indulging me through out by going wherever I wanted to go for “the shot” 🙂

This wedding took place in Jabalpur, so we did most of the Pre-Wedding Shoot in Dumna Nature Reserve. Props to Gaurav’s bhabhi for suggesting this location for our shoot!

See the full gallery here.

We started our shoot at the venue where all the functions had been scheduled. Poolside, garden side, all areas were explored…

The we started heading towards the gorgeous Dumna Nature Reserve, which is on the outskirts of Jabalpur, and is very close to the airport. Following a slightly hilly terrain, we reach the spot.

There were a few kuccha roads and that’s it. Rest was just beautiful, unspoilt wilderness.  I was very excited to get some fun “in the wilderness” sort of shots, and Shipra and Gaurav played on. All of us walked into lands filled with tall swaying grass (and what else, we don’t know) – and we also couldn’t see what we were stepping on. But we braved along, and got shots like these in:

We walked around a bit, and lo and behold – Shipra spotted a large water body – a lake in the distance! That was a massive surprise and a super pleasant one at that! Of course we had to get in our dreamy shots and check out its prettiness!

We ended our session just as the sun was setting, and then it was off for Mehendi! More to come… stay tuned!
