This post is all about some of the wonderful baby photography and family photography sessions I’ve had the pleasure to shoot. These pictures demonstrate the bond between a child and his/her father. While shooting families and babies, we always let the children be children. There’s no stiff posing involved (though gentle calls for direction are welcome by little ones), and they are not made to do things they wouldn’t otherwise be doing. We get them engaged in activities they ordinarily enjoy and stand back and shoot those expressions and their joy as it unfolds. What we get as a result of this is photographs which capture their daily emotions – emotions which are fleeting in nature. We capture the interaction between parents and their children. And those images speak for themselves. Here are a few in honour of Fathers Day!
